Staffing Software Company Signs 54 New Clients

TempWorks, a company that provides financing and staffing software, recently announced that it created new relationships with 54 temporary staffing businesses during 2009. The company increased market-share by focusing its development energy on products that allow customers to increase market share, reduce overhead and improve profitability.
One of the company's most popular applications is the TempWorks Time-Card Linker, which enables staffing firms to display a digital image of scanned time cards with their corresponding transactions. This eliminates the need for the customer to collate paper time cards with printed invoices and saves about one man-hour per $10,000 of weekly billings.
"Bringing on so many new business partners in 2009 really sets the tone for the new year," Mark Baratto, executive vice president of TempWorks, said. "Success in today's challenging economic climate demands that recruiting and staffing companies increase their focus on speed, efficiency and accuracy in delivering well-qualified candidates to their customers.
"Our success is based on adapting our software to the business needs of the customer, rather than forcing the customer to adapt their processes to our software," he added.
TempWorks also saw significant growth in its payroll processing and funding business. In addition, the company signed a software licensing agreement with a professional employment organization that has a volume of more than $100 million per year, as well as a payroll and invoice processing agreement with a 10-branch organization that has a volume of more than $35 million per year.
Company officials say TempWorks is not planning to slow down anytime soon, with the company planning to release key new products this year, including a new version of TempWorks Enterprise.
